How to read the table

Each cell answers one narrow question: does the app maker's own public website say the app does this? A quoted phrase means yes, and the quote is copied from the page linked in the Source column. Not documented means we read the maker's public pages on the checked date and did not find the capability described. It does not prove the feature is missing from the product, only that a veterinarian shopping today would not find it written down.

Rows are not ranked. The publisher row sits first so the disclosure is the first thing you see, and the remaining apps follow in alphabetical order. No app pays to appear, no scores are assigned, and prices are left out because they change too often to keep honest in a dated table.

What each column means

  • Differentials: the app produces or lists differential diagnoses for a case. Explained on the differentials page.
  • Diagnostic suggestions: the app recommends tests or a diagnostic plan for the case, separate from naming possible diagnoses.
  • Drug reference or dosing: the app carries drug monographs, dosing information or a dose calculator. Explained on the drug reference page.
  • Lab results: the app reads lab values into the record or interprets a panel. Explained on the lab results page.
  • Live two-way translation: the app interprets a spoken conversation between veterinarian and client in both directions while it happens, rather than translating a finished document.

Who built this table

Vetinuity built and maintains this site, and it appears above as one row marked as the publisher. Vetinuity is a veterinary clinical assistant: it follows the exam, lists cited differentials, diagnostics and treatment options, reads lab panels from a photo, and translates the exam live across 80+ languages. It is 14 days free to try. The full checking rules are on the method page.

Frequently asked questions

Which veterinary apps suggest differential diagnoses?

Use the Differentials filter above the table. Every app with a quoted cell in that column describes differential support on its own public website, and the quote links to the page where it was read.

Is this table a ranking?

No. Rows carry no scores and no order of merit. The publisher row is pinned first for disclosure, and every other app is listed alphabetically.

How often are the cells rechecked?

Each cell carries the date it was last read. When a maker changes its public pages, the cell is updated and the date moves with it.
